New toys

1. I sat down and wrote a letter during Baby’s afternoon nap. It felt kind of luxurious.

2. We have a little bit of beautiful fall color when I look out the kitchen window. I like all the trees back there on the side of our property and next to the creek because it makes it feel like the houses aren’t right on top of each other.

3. Another out-of-state aunt is in town and we had a nice visit with her this morning. She was sad that she’s the last one to meet Baby, but I consoled her by telling her that she’s probably the only one to get to have a picture holding Baby, with Baby smiling. We discussed the need for baby toys that don’t look like baby toys. We need an activity table with Velcro, shoelaces, a wallet, keys, knobs, a toothbrush, and a buckle.
